Queens of the Stone Age (QOTSA) is an American hard rock band from Palm Desert, California that have been around since the mid-1990s. They have consistently been hailed as one of the best alternative rock groups of all time. With seven studio albums released, 20-plus internationally certified gold, silver, and platinum certifications, and almost a million records sold, QOTSA have been an unstoppable force to be reckoned with in the music industry. The group has also supported various human rights causes including LGBT rights, animal welfare, and climate change. Even after going on hiatus for some time, the group came back as a force for good and in support of the Black Lives Matter movement, with QOTSA frontman, Josh Homme, stating himself in an interview for Billboard Magazine regarding their anti-racism stance, "it's like, you don't get to not talk about this. It's the most undeniable problem with the deepest roots."

For almost 25 years, Queens of the Stone Age have used their platform to craft their own sound and advocate for charitable causes. Not only is the band widely celebrated for their unique sound, they are also praised for their efforts to promote human rights and their commitment to being a voice for the marginalized.
